As a composer, music designer and sound designer my primary focus is blending the craft of music composition and audio design with the technological aspect of implementation and interactivity to deliver a dynamic sonic experience in the service of storytelling and gameplay.
Early in my career, I've worked on cross-disciplinary projects mixing video; dance, theatre, audio and other medias. These experiences quickly taught me to take an interest in other disciplines, training in some of them to understand them better and adapt my sound work to their specificities. That's exactly how I approach video games. I've had plenty of opportunities to create small games myself, so that I can understand the ins and outs to be able to use this knowledge to apply it to my design of interactive audio systems.
I am also very grateful that my solid experience in the audio industry and in music composition has given me all the tools and knowledge I need to build vivid, immersive worlds for the listener to lose themselves in, and to continuously grow and push the boundaries of my craft.
When I am involve on a project, I leave no stone unturned. For me, immersion is primordial and that means in-depth research, experimenting with textures, having the desire to stand out and to create an aesthetic coherence alongside a precise audio design that will encourage the emotional involvement of the player.
